As many has heard in the past mailings, there have been some changes in the command structure of the post. As of the middle of January I Eric Benson have taken over as commander. Cammander Wooley resigned with great regret and did not want to resign but felt it would be for the best of the post and his members. Cammander Wooley served us well and I wish him the best and also thank him for all that he had to offer to us. As a post we will continue to move forward with our new command. As ...

As Most have herd the city of pekin is wanting to buy some of our property for the new route 9 that will be coming through the Senior Vice and My Self went to a meeting with the city on Monday the 22nd and got a good idea on what is going to take place with our land with that being said we will have a EMERENCY MEETING AUG 29th at 7 pm open to EVERYONE to hear what will take place, and what the city is offering along with our choices. Dear Comrades the post is has been very busy behind the sceens with alot going on. First I want to thank my Senior Vice Commander for the great job he has done since coming on board could not ask for a better person. There has been alot of changes going on at your post with the sad news of the Lady's Auxiliary folding to changing of Command and New Post Officers. Commander Lenny Gray after years of service with post 1232 will be stepping down we would like to thank him for his service for all the time he gave the post to the gray hairs we gave him.
